Well, I am no longer a teenager. I think I took about 20 years off my life in the last three days. I started drinking on Friday around 4:00pm. Proceeded to get drunk. I remember going to a bar and having drinks bought for me by people I don't know. Then I went home, passed out, woke up on Saturday and started drinking again with some friends that had crashed at my place. Then at 2:00pm, I went in to the school and wrote an exam (Political Science - International Relations. And I aced it, thank you very much). Came home, and got far far far more drunk. I don't really remember what happened, but I have a vauge recollection of punching a wall (and my hand hurts to back it up). Anyways, the upshot is I woke up today at 1:00, realized I was still way too drunk, and went back to bed for 3 more hours. When I got up again, I saw: five (empty) six packs of Maudite (a 9% Quebecoise beer), an (empty) 40oz of malt liquor, a broken 40oz of Havana Club Anejo Reserva, an (empty) 26oz of Jack Daniels, and an (empty) micky of vodka. Oh yes.

Well, here's to twenty more years of debauchery!

Well, it's been quite some time since I've made a post here. To tell the truth, I actually forgot about livejournal until about ten minutes ago. Anyways, as I'm sure all of you know, I'm living in Montreal now. I have a nice little apartment downtown, really close to everything.

It has been a pretty fucking crazy since I've been here. I didn't expect things to start so fast. I've made some really good friends and been hella busy between drinking, school, orginizing shit, drinking, and everything else. I am now actually helping put on an event at Concordia where some people from the Oaxaca Commune in Mexico will be speaking about the siutation there. I am also doing many other things.

The bars here a great. There are so, so many of them. For the most part they're pretty cheap too. The most striking thing about Montreal though (aside from the French - stupid fucking language laws) is the architecture. It's all this super old gothic brick stuff. If you go up to McGill and walk along Sherbrook street you feel like you're in a Disney movie. Also, sometimes where you're just wandering around you'll accidentally stumble into a group of the biggest fucking mansions you've ever seen, as happened to me the other day.

Of course, there's the ghettos too. A friend of mine lives in one of the French ghettos here and it's bizarre going over there. Francophone G-Unit ganstas are not something I ever thought existed. But they do. Also, there are really sketchy bars with porn playing on several TVs but that sell pints for $2. I love the mob.

Anyways, that's pretty much it for now. I have nothing to do today until 5:00, and it's overcast and damp outside some I'm just sitting in my apartment looking out the window at the other apartments accross the street. What a waste of a full wall-sized window. Oh well.

I'm still cursing Matt for quitting his job before he could come out to visit me. I can't believe that shit man. Well, some day you guys will all have to get you asses out here.

Peace

OK, so I thought of a few more things to say. Number one, fuck Troika Vodka. Number two, I have somehow lost muscle control in the left half of my face. I can't close my left eye, I only blink with one eye now. So shit gets all blurry and I get headaches. And I'm out of percocet. Also, I can't eat or talk properly. I feel like I had a stroke. I really need to go to a doctor but I can't make an appointment cause no doctors here are taking patients so I have to go to the walk in which is a 3 hour wait which I can't do cause I work full time. I have nothing but contempt for life and the fact that you can't get narcotic perscription drugs out of vending machines. Number three, I hate this town, but I'm thankful every day that I'm not in Smithers. Number four, I feel so ridiculously clean, I haven't done hard drugs at all this year and mushrooms only once in the past year. I rarely smoke pot and hardly even drink hard alcohol anymore (until Matt came). Still smoke like a chimney though. Ya, I think that's it.

Well it's been a while since I've posted here. Honestly I dont even remember what the fuck I wrote last time. Anyways, school's finally over and for those of you who don't know (which is probably none of you) I'm staying in Kamloops for the summer. I have a shitty job that I hate but is full time and pays so I'm saving money for the fall. Hopefully I'm going to Montreal, but I still haven't heard back from either McGill or Concordia. However, I just got an admission letter from York in Toronto, so I'm for sure going out east. Hopefully I'll never come back (I joke - I'll be back for Christmas n shit).

So Matt just came down for a bit. It was great, but unfortunately not as great as it could have been due to the fact that I have an ear infection and was doped up on percocets for much of it and not really into barring it up. Either way though, great to see him again. Sometimes I forget I have friends. Andrea moved back to Smithers. Rather quickly. So it's just me an Aimee again. If any of y'all can make it up/down here for a while, we have a spare room that you're welcome to. We love company. Anyways, I guess I don't have much else to say.

Peace

Fuck
Ya, so, Kim Shenkar (sp) got into Aimee's e-mail account and fucked around a whole bunch, so if you've talked to her on MSN or getten an e-mail from her, it was actually Kim. There's a whole bunch of shit that I'd like to say about it, but suffice to say, we've talked to the police and they've started an investigation. Also, I've created a brilliant piece of art. It's tentativly titled "Have You Ever Heard Of IP Addresses?"

Ya, I haven't posted in a while, but I'm bored so I'll try and write some shit. If all goes to plan, I'll be applying to McGill and Concordia this week. I really need to work my ass of this semester to get better grades. So hopefully I'll actually do that. I'm taking English with a guy names Bernard Igwe. He speaks with a British accent with an African accent. It's pretty cool. Sociology sucks. Behavioural Statistics is surprisingly interesting/easy. And Political Science is always good, even if it is just Canadian Government.

Um, having no weed really really sucks. Especially when you've already made hash with all your scraps.

We met a crazy guy at the coffee shop today. It was strange, because he sounded very articulate and had an extensive vocabulary, but he just started talking to us about the most random things. Example: Do you believe in angels? Do you know what a blue angel is? They're in the navy and they fly jets. The same one's Canada uses. I used to fly, but never jets - that I know of. See this jacket? It was a gift from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It's the kind used by cosmonauts. Have you ever been in a hot air balloon? They're really amazing. Have you ever seen Star Wars? Well there's this book that extends the story, the plot's kind of boring, it's like a labyrinth. But the picture on the cover is of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker and Princes Leia and there's a big red crystal thing. You should pick up a copy.

So ya, that was weird.

Anyways, life's been pretty boring for the most part. I don't really have anything else to say. So ya.

Well, I guess my birthday was kind of yesterday. We partied with Austen, Ron, Mitch, and some girls that Aimee knows, it was crazy. Vodka, Vanilla Twist Vodka, Beer (lots), Alize Gold, and Sake. Also that other stuff. Ya, that stuff. Fuck that. Oh well, happy 19 to me.

Well, Ron came over for a bit last night and we all killed a forty of OE each (well I killed the last quarter of Aimee's too...). Ron ended up leaving at like 11 to catch the last bus, so we figured we'd just stat at home for the rest of the night. But then Aimee gets a random call from Jason Smythe, who's all hammered. So we end up meeting him and Eric Wong in the parking lot of Saveon Foods. We cant think of anything to do, so we end up going over to UCH (a barely off campus dorm) to see if Matt Brise is up to anything. Jason throws his keys at the window until he wakes up and says that hes sleeping. Anyways, we figure since we're there we might as well see if there are any parties. We end up getting invited up to some party at a guy named Drew's place. It was about as fun as a party full of first years you dont know in a tiny ass dorm room can be. We lose Wong and decide to leave and find another party, but wind up in the activity center thing. It felt like we walked through a time warp back to the fifties. It's like, this is where the people that look for what 'students recreation activities' are available on saturday night go. It was like walking into the fucking malt shop. I mean, who 'goes out' and plays ping pong on the weekend in college. Oh well.

Anyways, then we stole a pumpkin from super store and went home (a 45 minute walk down Summit (a main street) carrying a pumpkin) and smoked some hash. It was good.

So I was taking the bus home after class and I saw a car parked in the middle of the street. I didn't see any other cars there so I figured he just broke down, and there was a bunch of people hanging around. Anyways, we passed the car and on the other side, there was a motorcycle on the ground, pieces of a smashed helmet, and a guy lying in the middle of the street in a pool of blood bleeding from his head and mouth. It was pretty fucking disdurbing.

Anyways, other than that, shit's going pretty good. Not too much happening. Ron's house got robbed and all his CDs and his wallet got jacked. To make matters worse, all his ID was in his wallet, which means that neither he nor I can legitimately (or pseudo-legitimately, respectivley) buy cigarettes. So what we do now is just walk around until someone asks for spare change, and then say well I might if you do me a favour... works like a charm.

Well, I ran out of smokes today and consequentially went crazy. I got really high and walked around town and ran into some homeless guy with a heavy Irish/British accent who looked like he was from the 19th century. He talked about jobs and factories and shit for like half an hour, it was intense. Um, anyways, I got smokes now so it's all good.

Classes were alright, but I'm think I'm gonna drop English 111 and take another Spanish course second semester. It's like Lit class but alot more work.

Anyways, I guess not much else has happened that's worth writing about.

Well, today is the second day of classes, but, being a wednesday, my first class isn't until 4:30. So that's cool. Yesterday I had Philosophy (formal logic), anthropology, and political science (contemporary ideologies. All of which were enjoyable and seem fairly easy. Today I have english and spanish. I'm a little worried about those ones, well mostly spanish.

I've also been putting off taking my resume around, but I'll probably do that today. Come to think about it, the only reason I'm posting this is to procrastinate going out and taking around my resume. Oh well, that's what the internet's for, right?

Um, it's a pain in the ass to find a boot down here so I haven't actually drank since the first day I was here, and I'm running low on tobacco. Fuck. Oh, I ran into Coleman at London Drugs yesterday, he said he'd show me where all the parties are. They might just be stupid high school parties, but it's worth a shot. I also ran into Jessica Burlong at TRU. She's down here with Andrea Manderson. So that was kind of cool.

Not too much else, but aparantly I'm supposed to post this, so reply n shit:

1. Reply with your name and I'll respond with something random about you.

2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.

3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in.

4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.

5. I'll tell you my first memory of you.

6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.

7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. You MUST. It is written.

Well I found out yesterday that the buses stop running very early on Sundays. It was very unfortunate because it meant we couldn't go to the Stutterfly show, so we just ended up getting high and watching Hypercube (which was fucking awesome) and Happiness (which had a handwritten warning on it saying that it was completely obcene and guarenteed to offend everyone who watched it). While I was not offended, it was still a most excellent movie.

Anyways, class starts tomorow and I don't have all my books yet cause the bookstore is closed on weekends and I think it might be closed today too because of Labour Day. Also, I don't think the buses run so it might be a pretty slow day.

We were sorely lacking for counter space the other day, so we took four boxes, stacked them, and covered them with a sheet and made a table. I was quite proud of that idea, as it works very well. Except now we still need another table and we're out of boxes. Oh well.

Oh, my Spanish text book is called, get this, 'Hola Amigos'! What a fucking original name! $120 and they can't fucking come up with anything better than Hi Friends? It sounds like a fucking elementary school book! Fucking bullshit publishers.

Anyways, I think that's about it. Last day before classes. Taker easy everyone.

Well, I'm in Kamloops finally, I guess this is day six now but I haven't really got a chance to write in here yet. Got a pretty nice shoebox downtown. I've pretty much just been exploring the town for the last couple days and getting all my shit ready for school. English, Spanish, Philosophy, Political Science, and Anthropology first semester. Man, I've been fucking running into far to many people from Smithers for comfort. Other than Matt and Ron, of course, I've seen Kaylee Apostoliuk (sp?), Nicole Pinkerton, and Chad Day. Weird.

Well it really is nice to be here and out of Smithers and high school. That shit gets more sickening every time I think about it. So I guess I'm pretty happy. There are however, some very sketchy people here. I almost got punched by some cokehead at the bustop the other day and some weird strung out looking guy who was hunched over and growling like a bear damn near ran me over when I was leaving 711 the other day. And they frisk people for guns at clubs. But it's all good.

Let's see, some other random shit:

I bought I microwave yesterday for 15 bucks and had to carry it three blocks down the street. Got some weird looks.

Started rolling my own cigarettes. It's awesome and way cheaper.

There's a beautiful gas cap hanging from our wall.

I'm stealing this internet connection from some idiot named 'jasper' who has a laptop and an unsecured wireless connection somewhere around here. Payin for shit's for yuppies.

Anyways, I guess that's it for now, I'll add more when more happens.
